Investment funds (ETF) — securities traded at stock exchanges and investment portfolio structure of which is similar to a specific funds’ index structure. Some index funds’ structure traded at the stock exchange envisages a credit shoulder possibility or F1 short positions. Investor’s obligation is study all terms, rights and liabilities related to each specific index fund traded at stock exchanges in a careful way.

In order to ensure ever better protection of customer interests and higher market transparency the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MIFID) 2004/39/EK was introduced in the EU in 2007 as well as a range of related normative documents that stipulate new obligations to providers of investment services.
