On your request the GEMB unrestrictedly makes cash and non-cash conversion of all currencies required to settle accounts with private and legal persons in different countries.

Conversion of currencies is based on observance of the following daily principle: upon receipt of the request for conversion, during the day respective currency is debited from the customer's account and the requested currency is credited en lieu.

The Bank helps also to arrange the most optimal procedure of payments in foreign currency. GEMB offers to sign forward deals on purchase and sale of currency to be delivered on contractual basis at some specified date in future at the rate stipulated in the contract.

Currency exchange in cash is made by the Bank's tellers at the rate ruling on the currency purchase and sales date at the GEMB Central office or the Bank's branch.

Non-cash currency exchange rates at the Bank's central office in Riga (The Bank's branches are entitled to fix exchange rates for cash and non-cash currency (spot rates)).
