AS GE Money Bank informs that in accordance with the Deposit Guarantee Law compensation is guaranteed for all types of deposits in all currencies up to 50,000 EUR (approx. 35,120 LVL) in one bank to all customers of Latvian banks – both natural and legal persons.

Operation of the Latvian deposit guarantee system complies with the directive of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe on requirements for deposit guarantee systems. The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Latvia has been created and operates in compliance with the Deposit Guarantee Law.

Participants of the Deposit Guarantee Fund are deposit service providers that are crediting institutions registered in the Republic of Latvia as well as in accordance with the procedure stipulated by the Deposit Guarantee Law their subsidiaries in foreign countries, as well as subsidiaries of foreign crediting institutions and savings and loans banks.
