“GE Money Bank” offers a convenient service "SMS Bank" to its customers.

 

What are the advantages of getting connected to “SMS Bank”?

  • You can receive information about the incoming and outgoing sums in a current account with a possibility to specify a minimal sum you want to receive a notice about;
  • You can temporarily suspend and then reactivate the “SMS Bank” service without a separate request simply by sending a respective message.

 

Why is it convenient?

  • You will know when the money has been transferred to your account (salary, scholarship, pension, etc.);
  • You will be informed about regular payments (payment made or not made);
  • You will be informed about credit payments (paid or not paid);
  • The service is available 24 hours a day.

 

What is necessary to have “SMS Bank” in your pocket?

  • A current account with the “GE Money Bank”;
  • A mobile telephone with LMT, Tele2 or BITE (the service is available for permanent subscribers and users of pre- paid phone cards) connection and a possibility to send and receive SMS;
  • An application regarding connection to and use of “SMS Bank” (it can be filled out at any GEMB branch or customer service centre).

 

How much does it cost?

  • Connection of the service- free of charge;
  • Subscription of the service- free of charge;
  • One SMS- LVL 0.06.

 

“GEMB SMS Bank” commands

Customer help:

  • To get information about all “SMS Bank” commands, send a SMS to the phone number 1878 with any of these words or symbols:
    • HELP
    • INFO
    • I
    • ?
  • You will receive a responsive short message from the bank with a short description of the available commands;
  • If you have sent an error (wrong) command, you will receive a SMS with a short description of the available commands automatically.

Service activation/suspension:

  • To suspend the service, send a message with the text OFF to the number 1878;
  • To activate the service, send a message with the text ON to the number 1878.

Changing of minimal debit and credit limits of the account:

  • To change the minimal debit (-) limit of the account, send a SMS with the text "D Figure account number" to the number 1878;
  • To change the minimal credit (+) limit of the account, send a SMS with the text "C Figure account number" to the number 1878.

Structure of the “GEMB SMS Bank” message

Transaction/TYPE OF TRANSACTION/CURRENCY/+-SUM/ACCOUNT BALANCE/ACCOUNT NUMBER/DATE/RECIPIENT (OR A PAYER)

Type of transaction:

    • BANK– all transactions that are bank initiated (commissions, credit payments, deposit repayment);
    • CARD- all transactions with bank cards (ATMs, shops);
    • PAYMENT– money transfers (outside/inside the bank);
    • CASH- all transactions with cash (account deposits/payments, except ATM withdrawals);

  • If the SIM card with the telephone number specified in the application has been lost or stolen, you should immediately inform the bank of it;
